Mr. Anu S. Pillai of M/s. Anu Cashews, Kollam was unanimously elected as the Vice Chairman of the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India at the meeting of the Committee of Administration of the Council held soon after the 56th Annual General Meeting of the Council on 29th September 2011 at Cochin.

Mr. Anu S. Pillai has been a member of the Committee of Administration from 1999 onwards. Presently he is the Convenor of the Printing & Publications Sub Committee and also part of CEPCI’s team for the Global Cashew Task Force (GCTF).

He had played a pivotal role in the conduct of “World Cashew Congress 2001” at Cochin, “Kaju India 2006” held at Kovalam and the “Kaju India 2011” International Buyer Seller Meet held at Kollam, early this year.

Mr. Anu S. Pillai is the partner of M/s. Anu Cashews, Kollam established in 1985 which is part of the well known “KPP Group”. He is the son of the late Mr. P. Shatrugnan Pillai of M/s. Indian Nut Products and is also the nephew of the Council’s past Chairmen late Mr. P. Gangadharan Pillai and late Mr. P. Bharathan Pillai.
