Membership in the Council

Membership in the Council is open to exporters of cashew and allied products.

Approval of name as a prospective exporter of cashew kernels/cashewnut shell liquid is a pre-condition for enrolment as a member. 

The following particulars are to be submitted for name approval:-

1. Nature of the firm
2. Name(s) of Proprietor/Partners
3. Association with any other organisation
4. I.E. Code Number

For membership, application may be submitted in the prescribed format.  Documents to be submitted along with the application form are:

1. Proof of having engaged in export of cashew kernels/cashewnut shell liquid viz. copies of bill of lading/invoice/ Certificate from a Chartered Accountant.

2. The following payments are to be made by means of a Demand Draft for membership during 2012-2013:

a. Entrance Fee � Rs.20,000/-
b. Annual Membership Fee� Rs.7,500/-(For subsequent years, this will be Rs. 7500/= at the current rate.
c. Minimum Trade contribution � Rs. 7,500/-

d.  Service tax @12.3% is applicable.
